Guys, I really like what you guys are doing here for Boom and was kinda hoping that you would look at doing the same thing for Marvel, DC and Image or some other small press releases.
We are looking to do releases for other publishers as well. Currently Boom! updates their weekly releases in a nice "press" friendly manner. We belong to press release like stuff for other publishers, but don't get the steady flow of easy access updates like we do from Boom! We are working on that.
Andrew,
Thanks for noticing and commenting on the effort being made to offer a bit more news on the site. The reason Boom has been in such a high % of these updates is not just because we'd like to support them (although we really do) but also because they added us to their press list after Heroes Con. We've given effort and made inquires about making these same connections with other companies both big and small and as of yet have not received the same interest/access that Boom has returned.
Some of the press releases I receive from organizations just don’t fit with what we post on the site and therefore aren’t used. But as far as the bigger companies you mention, we are not currently in contact with them. Without direct contact from these companies I don’t wish to report false information or use improper preview materials. And to be honest, I also don’t want to constantly scavenge the internet looking for and borrowing content from other sites that have access that we have yet to be granted.
As more creators and companies grant us access to information and materials we will continue to try to share it.
