Help Spread the DB Vote

As most of you know voting for the Best of 2009 Dollar Bin Awards has started.  We made fliers to hand out at the local comic shops and they seem to be going pretty well.  I figured why not share the promotional excitement with the rest of you.  I’ve linked to a PDF for anyone who wants to help. Easy steps:  Save, Print out, cut it up, and distibute.  You’re going to your LCS anyway, right?

Also, feel free to use that image to post a link back on your own site.

Please don’t litter these or shove them down anyone’s throat.  It is, however, okay to wrap 2 dollar bills around them and slide them into stippers g-strings.

HeroesCon 08 Panels are Back

Since the move to our new site the panels and a few of the interviews from HeroesCon back in June 08 changed to a state of missing.  Well, I’m here to tell you they are back.  Check Interviews and check the Shows Archive.

Also, we recently covered the Charlotte Mini-Con.  That is our kickoff for the new con season so get ready for that.  We still have a few more pieces from the CMC09 to post as well as some stuff from a little collectibles Con in Greenville, SC that Brian and I visited last week.

As you may have noticed we’ve been kind of quiet the last 2 weeks and taken a bit of a break for the holidays. We’ll be back with some new updates next week as we get back into the swing of things and head into the new year.

Remember to check out our forum and join in as we continue to put together our recap of our year with comics for the 2008 edition of the Dollar Bin Awards. The awards gala will take place next month so the nominations and voting process won’t last much longer so don’t delay in making your choices!
