Jonah Hex - first trailer

Thanks to Yahoo! Movies the first trailer for the June 18, 2010 release Jonah Hex has hit the web. Normally we’d toss the video up here, but since their video app doesn’t exactly fit well on our page, just head on over to their site to check it out!

Since when did Jonah Hex become Carl from fucking Slingblade? Jesus Christ, someone needs to get kicked in the dick for seemingly ruining Jonah Hex.
They ruined it the second they cast Megan Fox. Apparently thy're desperate for an audience.
Surely I'm not the only man in the world who looks at Megan Fox and goes, "So?".
You think it ends with him fighting a giant spider? What the hell was that? He's bad ass and he kills people. How do you mess that up?
So, he can revive the dead? I'm usually the one who beats up you guys for being too negative....but yeah, that looks like crap. Can't believe Gob Bluth got pulled into the vortex of suckiness as well.
I will only see this drunk, either at the cheap theater or on my home projector.
The movie doesn't really seemed to be based on Jonah Hex from his current DC book by Palmiotti, Gray and friends. It looks like they are looking to the the 90's when Hex had a few mini-series at Vertigo that dealt with a lot of horror and sci-fi themes instead. But I think more than anything they decided to try to make a summer blockbuster instead of a serious movie and most readers of the current book will disagree with that move.
I'm so sad right now.
But even in the Vertigo books, which were awesome by the way...Tim Truman and Joe Lansdale are fantastic, Jonah never had any "powers".
He was just regular old Jonah Hex only instead of shooting humans in the face he was shooting zombies and beasts from hell in the face.
This almost looks like the work of someone who knows nothing of Jonah Hex at all.

Meghan fox couldn't act if her life depended on it. I just cant believe brolin and malkovich signed up for this piece of shit. The guys who put this together need to be castrated.
