Whoa.
Is that May 7 2010?
I didn't realize it was that soon.
Sweet.

I'm still mad about Terence Howard not being in that suit.

Really Ted? I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I can understand wanting continuity between films, but I'm willing to bet Don Cheadle would have been better in the first movie as Rhodes than Howard was...

Terence Howard should have been given a little more love than to be knocked to the side like that. Don Cheadle is a fine actor but he's just too thin in my opinion to play Rhodey. With that said the poster looks awesome.

Didn't Howard want more money? I mean, he's Terence Howard. And I still, everytime I here the TH discussion, think of when I was at Richard's and a black guy was complaining that TH was too light skinned to be Rhodes.

Every time i think of Terence Howard, I think of how overrated he was in Hustle & Flow, and how weak his voice is. Cheadle may be wiry, but he's certainly more intimidating than Howard is...

I'm pretty stoked for this movie, but I'm a little worried about Black Widow. Is Johansen going to have a Russian accent in this? I'm a little scared, but I don't want them to go the GI Joe Barronness route and just make her American. Not sure which would be better really.

And every time I think of Terrance Howard I think of this quote about his deal breaker with women (dude seems kinda nuts):

"Toilet paper - and no baby wipes - in the bathroom. If they're using dry paper, they aren't washing all of themselves. It's just unclean. So if I go in a woman's house and see the toilet paper there, I'll explain this. And if she doesn't make the adjustment to baby wipes, I'll know she's not completely clean."

I've got no problem with the role going to Don Cheadle. I like his work and the films he chooses a lot better than Terrance Howard and I didn't think Howard really brought anything to the role in the first movie. Going forward for at least IM2 & IM3 plus the Avengers movie I'd much rather see Cheadle on the screen.

It's not so much that I'm a Terence Howard fan, it's just distracting for me when there's a cast change. Plus, the only role I can think of when it comes to Don Cheadle is Basher from the Ocean's movies (and that hideous accent). All the rest of his work is blocked out by that tour de shit.

I guess Ted never grew up watching soap operas with his mom? They are always changing actors and actresses for a character.... and then bringing back the original actor that started the role. Remember Bo from Days of our Lives? Do ya?

I'm on the side with Brian and what looks like everyone else. Cheadle is a much better actor and will undoubtably make Rhodey a much more interesting character. Plus if he's really going to be putting on the War Machine suit then by god that is just going to kick adamantium bootie.

Seriously, do you really think Howard could pull off the tough guy image and be worthy of War Machine? I heard he gained too much weight and couldn't fit in the armor. What do you think? I found this image.
