Boom! Deals with 2nd Printing Alt Distributor

Boom! Teams Up With Haven Distributors
I know often when I’m at Richard’s Comics and Collectables he complains about not having fast access to Boom! books when he sells out. He usually has to contact them directly because Diamond is, simply put, troublesome when it comes to filling those smaller publisher recharge orders.
What I like about this deal is it is for 2nd Printings. One of the big arguments I hear about someone setting up another Distributer for there books is that the dealers then have to worry about a second order form to fill out and track. Talking to dealers they have enough trouble getting the one form done while also taking care of the other day to day tasks of running a comic shop. This 2nd Printing distributor option is just what it says. Its an option. Dealers don’t have to use it. But, if they want there 2nd Printings of Boom! books a lot faster then they are welcome to do so. Good for you Boom! Keep the inovation coming.

I got the press release for this and hadn't gotten around to posting it yet because I honestly don't know enough about the retail portion of the business to know if it is a big deal or not. I would like for it to be because it seems that a lot of stores, readers, creators and companies have a lot of issues with Diamond and there needs to be alternatives.
