If you guys seriously haven't seen the warm up sketches Chris Brunner has been doing lately, you OWE it to yourself BIG TIME to have a look at what's posted on the Kickstand Kids site: http://kickstandkids.blogspot.com/ or, (it's actually kind of easier to see them all grouped together) at his Deviant Art gallery: http://kickstandkid78.deviantart.com/gallery/ . I say without reservation that they are incredible.

Anyhow, I completely missed FCBD this year so thanks for making it sound so great and stuff.

Jason did the lettering on Loose Ends rather than Chris.

hah, you guys got me to talk at the podcast ("Chris? Chris? Can you hear me?"), great listen, all trickery aside. Agreed, Izzy made this the best FCBD ever, and tears were shed over the absence of Devin and T. I don't think you mentioned how great the Samnee/Wilson Thor book is,verily, I smite thee. What I was saying, outloud, that you weren't around to hear: "Adam! Shawn! Do your research!" ;p kidding. No, um, Jason lettered the dialogue (he's great at it, pro letterers agree), I did the sound effects and logo, but all 3 of us did versions before the final. Teamwork, people. And drills.

Henry, thanks for the big ups! Heather, I like how you buried the one pic with you in it at the very end of your 174 pic FCBD Flickr set. You must like being photographed as much as me. Great photos otherwise, especially the pics of the lil tykes reading comics, my heart grew 3 sizes too big, like the grinch.

Ah, Chris, you never fail to amuse. Glad you liked the pics. I don't normally take pics of myself, but I do allow others to do so!

Sounds like you guys had a great (and busy) FCBD! Thanks for the kind words about Alpha-Sketch. Congrats to Adam on winning the first Alpha-Sketch contest by being the first person to correctly guess the Riddler. I'm going to do these weekly contests for at least the next three months with the second one starting tomorrow.
