What Brian Just Said plus DB on-ish the News-ish

Millar & Harris Tour FlyerRecently in the Heroes Hotline, Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find’s news letter, they first remind everyone:

Just a hair over a week away, we’ll be hosting one of the 7 U.S. stops on Mark Millar and Tony Harris’s Tour of Duty, supporting their new Image book War Heroes. This is going to be one of the bigger in-store events we’ve had, so we’re girding our loins in anticipation believe-you-me. Date: Sunday, August 17. We’ll be open extended hours, from 11-7, and the signing will go from 2-5pm.”

Then, if that wasn’t enough, they throw in a little more incentive:

“NOT ONLY will we be featuring these two star comics creators in a store-signing, BUT in association with our buddies at the Heroes Initiative, we’re letting them auction off the first spot in line! Not only that, but you’ll get one of the exclusive tour variants of War Heroes #1 for free as well. So if you want to beat what’s sure to be an impressive line AND get something free to get signed, head on over to the Ebay auction listing and get ready to give til it hurts! If you’re not familiar with them, the Hero Initiative is a non-profit organization designed expressly to help comics creators with living or medical expenses. This is a great cause, and what better way to meet Mark and Tony, but as someone who’s made a big contribution to one of their favorite charities? Yeah, I know—you should SRSLY head on over.”

Did I read that right? On top of all of this there will also be a sale:

“AS IF THIS WEREN’T ENOUGH, we’re also having a one-day storewide sale! Good grief are our feet going to be tired, but that’s just how much we want your money! Here’s a quick rundown of just some of the exciting saley stuff:”

If you aren’t signed up for this entertaining means of information you can do so here: Heroes Hotline

Now the real reason I’m here is to point out the awesomeness of the Dollar Bin booth at Heroes Con being in the background of Shelton’s interview for Carolina Traveler. If you look close you can see Devin on the right side being the goon that he is. Also, for a brief moment you can catch of glimpse of Brian. Most importantly is out sweet ass banner rockin’ it old school!

I see now that Brian already covered all of this between his blog posting and his post on our forum, but he did all that while I was making this blasted thing.
