Segments: Dollar Bin Tell 'Em

Image by Jim MahfoodThis week on the Dollar Bin we bring together our first segment show of the new year.  Segment shows will (hopefully have a better name soon) consist of different Dollar Bin segments (so its not just a clever name) recordered at different times to build one fantastic adventure.  This weeks adventure will take you through, a special audio edition of Shawn Says, the very first Dollar Bin Comic Book Monlogue, Shawn and Adam Go To Comic Shops, Reading Tweets with Rob Liefeld, and What Goes Into a Good Comic Shop?

Runtime: 24 minutes 11 seconds

Adam's Comic Book Monologue is one of the creepiest things I've heard so far on the Dollar Bin. I think it should be renamed "Adam scares women and small children". I need to go cry now.

And my guess for the monologue is Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil that Men Do.

Wow. I thought that scene was horrible and poorly written when it was published, and yet somehow Adam made it a lot worse with the creepy ass way he read it out-loud. I feel like I need a shower or a drink or some meth or something.

All I can say is wow. Adam's scene reading was like a skeezed-out late night AM radio show. I'm not sure but I think my mind may have sacrificed part of itself to keep the rest living like a lizard does with it's tail while listening to that.

So when do we get the Comics With Minori-Tee segment again?

Oh, and I came THIS close to booking Rob Liefeld for an interview once but I didn't bother pursuing it cause I figured Adam would just veto it.

Ha, Heather fell for it! Why would anyone want to be the "winner" of this one, notice Adam never called it a "prize". Best part for Adam; now he doesn't even have to pay postage to get rid of it!

Joel, you have to book Rob and have Shawn interview him and try not to do the voice.

I'll see if Adam is game and if so i'll reach out a hand.

If you guys think Adam's voice is creepy then you should have heard it muffled coming from the next room while he was editing it. I had to bust in to find out what the heck he was doing in there.
