Meet the Dollar Bin at Heroes Con 2008

The Dollar Bin is going to be at Heroes Con this weekend, June 20 - 22. We are located in Indie Island, smack-dab in the middle of the convention, at table ii-501 right next to J. Chris Campbell of Wide Awake Press and Rob Ullman who draws the prettiest ladies in comics. You’ll also find us all over the convention floor interviewing creators, making friends and having a wonderful time working to bring you the hottest interviews your ears have ever heard.
On top of that, we have exclusive audio coverage to many of the top panels and events happening all weekend. If if that were not enough we’ll also be taking plenty of pictures and video to upload to Flickr and YouTube for the whole world to view.
But wait! There’s more, Rachelle Goguen, writer of the popular comics blog, Living Between Wednesdays, is a special guest of the Dollar Bin and will be joining us all the way from Canada at our table all weekend. How cool are we?
We are also debuting our new t-shirt we created to celebrate our world tour. WHAT! We are going on a world tour? I guess you’ll just have to see the shirt for yourself to see what I’m talking about. If these are successful at Heroes Con we have plans to get more printed to sell on the Web site. Don’t quote me on that though because it’s totally up to Brian “Daddy Warbucks” Eison.
Did I mention we have a comic book that we assembled ecspecially for Heroes Con? Oh man, are you gonna flip out when you see it. Not only is it sporting a smoking-hot cover by Rob Ullman but it also showcases many of our wonderfully artistic friends, creators, listeners both in and around comics. Just who are these people? Well, just to name a few we have Andy Runton, Steve Hamaker, Curls Studio, Ben Towle, Duane Ballenger, and Chris Schweizer.

unfortunately I live just about as far from this con as is humanly possible and still be in the continental US. damnit!

I jokingly said I wasn't going to HeroesCon if you guys were going to be there...so what does the Universe do to me? Well the wife comes down with a stomach virus the morning of the show so I missed my scheduled Saturday.
However, since I'm not one to be trifled with by something as insignificant as the Universe, I've decided to say "fuck it" and I'll be headed up alone on Sunday.
Prepare yourself Charlotte...Cinlach is coming for you.
