2009 Harvey Award Winners
Saturday night at this year’s Baltimore Comic-Con the prestigious Harvey Awards were handed out. The Harvey Awards are one of the comic book industry’s oldest and most respected awards perhaps because they are the only industry awards both nominated by and selected by the full body of comic book professionals. Will I ever agree with the results of a Comics Best of awards thing?
Seemingly no.
How the hell is Y the Last Man 60 a best of anything? Its not bad, but best?
Dave Stewart's best work is better than Laura Martin's worst work, but his best work is not better than Laura's best. Maybe Laura needs to do more dark broody colors and narrow her palette to win a coloring award.
